Legal assistance
Legal Consultations
We offer free primary legal assistance to vulnerable groups in Ukraine, especially the Roma community. Our services include a local legal aid office in Odesa and a dedicated helpline.
Legal Education
We organize outreach and educational sessions to raise legal awareness among Roma communities, especially around issues arising due to the war. We focus on supporting Roma women and girls by holding workshops on gender-based violence prevention and providing psychological support.
Assistance with Documents
Many Roma individuals lack identification documents, limiting their access to education, healthcare, employment, and social services. We actively assist with obtaining birth certificates, passports, and other documents to help integrate Roma families into society and secure their basic rights.
Advocacy
Our organization plays a key role in shaping local and national policies affecting the Roma. We’re part of a national coalition of 11 Roma NGOs working to implement Ukraine’s Roma Integration Strategy 2030. We attend working groups and advocate for equal rights regionally and nationwide.
