Culture and sports
Theatrical Art and Cultural Identity
We promote theatrical art among Roma children, teenagers, and youth as a powerful tool for creative self-expression, preservation of culture and traditions. Theater helps young people become aware of their ethnic identity, fosters respect for their own heritage, and contributes to breaking down stereotypes. Through art, we cultivate leadership qualities, self-confidence, and communication skills, opening up new opportunities for Roma youth to integrate into Ukraine’s cultural landscape.
Filmmaking
Filmmaking is one of the key areas of our organization, as it serves as a powerful tool for overcoming stereotypes and promoting successful Roma stories. Our film crew includes Roma professionals who have undergone formal training and work under the direction of Roma film director Valerii Prodan.
We produce high-quality video content: documentary and fiction short films, informational clips, and videos on important social issues. In our work, we raise relevant problems faced by the Roma community, highlight their consequences, and promote the creation of a more just society. We pay special attention to promoting education, sports, culture, and active civic engagement among Roma, using cinema as an effective tool for social change.
Roma football team
Our organization has a football team composed of members of the Roma national minority. We actively participate in tournaments, promote a healthy lifestyle, and engage youth in sports. Roma football coach Andrii Prodan is dedicated to developing football among Roma children and teens, fostering strength of character, discipline, and team spirit. Through sports, we are shaping a healthy, active, and confident generation of Roma youth.
