Proactive representatives of Roma youth who strive for self-development and want to become agents of positive change in their communities. Youth who want to become part of caring people for the development of their people.

Yana Prodan

Roma mediator, SMM manager, assistant project coordinator of the Center

Thanks to the example set by her brothers and the support of the Roma Human Rights Center, Yana was able to unlock her potential, pursue an education, and build a career in the public sector. Today, she works as an SMM manager and assistant project coordinator while studying to become a psychologist—realizing her professional goals and helping others along the way.

Laura Ushenko

Roma mediator, psychologist at the Center

Born in a small village in the Odesa region, Lora overcame discrimination to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a psychologist. Through her involvement with PRC programs, she became a mediator and now supports women and children, works within the community, and teaches music alongside her husband. Her mission is to empower Roma people to discover their inner strength and self-confidence.

Valentyna Halaichuk

Roma mediator, assistant project coordinator of the Center

Valentyna once had no dreams or plans for the future—until she attended a life-changing retreat for Roma girls. That experience became the turning point in her journey. Today, she is an assistant coordinator, a mediator, and a future lawyer who dreams of creating more opportunities for Roma girls, helping each of them believe in themselves. Her mission is to support and uplift the Roma community through confidence and education.
